3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service: payments are handled by Stripe, and ads are served by Google (see Advertising below). Otherwise we share it only as required by law or with your consent.

4. Visitor Statistics

We count how many people visit each day without using cookies. Each page you open tells our server that a page was viewed; the server combines your IP address and browser details with a random value that changes every day and keeps only a scrambled result (a hash) and a page count. The previous day's random value is deleted, so these records can't be traced back to you or linked from one day to the next. Your IP address itself is not stored for this.

5. Cookies and Similar Storage

We use a small number of cookies that the site needs to work: to keep you logged in and to protect the login against forged requests, and one that remembers your country (the one you picked, or the one your connection appears to be in) so we show the streaming services available there. We also keep the list of languages in your browser's session storage so it doesn't have to be downloaded again; it is cleared when you close the tab. These don't track you and don't need your consent.

If you aren't a Pro subscriber, Google may also set advertising cookies, but only with your consent, which you'll be asked for when you first visit. To change your choice, clear this site's cookies in your browser and you'll be asked again.

6. Advertising

Visitors who aren't Pro subscribers may see ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. If you don't consent, Google may still show ads that aren't personalised, and receives information such as your IP address to deliver them and to prevent fraud.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings. For how Google uses information from sites that show its ads, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Pro subscribers don't see ads, and the ad code isn't loaded for them.

7. Affiliate Links

Links to Amazon (for example to Prime Video) are affiliate links, marked "Paid link" on title pages. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases made after following them, at no extra cost to you. Amazon may set its own cookies when you arrive on its site, under Amazon's privacy notice. We don't receive any personal information about you from Amazon.
